As a Sophomore -- Had a 5-7 overall singles record as a sophomore...played in one dual match in a win over Gardner-Webb...had the clinching victory in that match...had a 5-4 overall record in doubles play, going 4-2 with Brad Pomeroy.

As a Freshman -- Had a 2-4 singles record in his freshman year...had a 2-1 mark in doubles...won four of his five tiebreakers...had a win over #103 Alex Bose of Duke at the ACC Indoor Championships.

Prep – Won the Tar Heel Qualifier to advance to Southerns in the summer of 2001 … ranked in the Top 25 of the USTA Boy’s 16s … attended Naples High School in Naples, Fla., graduating in May 2001.
