Ohio State Career 2003-04 (Senior) Kirksey went 2-4 in tournament action … started in one duals match for the Buckeyes … defeated Xavier’s Matt Zollman in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3, at the No. 6 position … named academic All-Big Ten … OSU scholar-athlete.  

2002-03 (Junior) Kirksey started in three matches during his junior campaign ... went 2-1 overall as well as in duals ... had a win at the Nos. 4 and 6 positions and suffered his only loss while playing at the No. 3 position ... OSU scholar-athlete and academic All-Big Ten selection. 

2001-02 (Sophomore) Kirksey added a 6-0 duals record to enhance his career duals record to 8-1 ... had an overall record of 22-14 in his first two years at Ohio State ... went 1-2 in doubles tournament action with teammate Vince Ng ... selected academic All-Big Ten.

2000-01 (Freshman) Kirksey compiled an 11-5 singles record and was 0-1 in the Big Ten ... captured the Toledo Rocket Indoor Championship in the Flight B bracket (10/15/00) ... won the Rocket title with a 6-2, 7-5 defeat of teammate Brenton Contini ... advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Championships Flight B (1/21/01) ... lost in the consolation finals of the Kentucky Winter Slam.

McKinley High School Kirksey was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs … finished third in the state his senior year, fourth in state as a junior … member of the National Honor Society and student council.
