Bracey is in his second year as a member of the Pearl River Wildcat Tennis Team.  He is the son of Michael and Connie Bracey of Columbia, Mississippi.  Before coming to Pearl River, Bracey played on the varsity tennis team at Columbia High School.  During his time there, he earned two individual district champion titles, one is boys' doubles and one in singles, and was a major contributor to his team earning the district champion title as well.  He graduated from Columbia High School with special honors and was a member of Who's Who Among High School Students, the National Society of High School Scholars, and the French National Honor Society.

During his freshman season with the Wildcats, Bracey competed at the number one singles and doubles positions, advancing to the quarterfinals of the state tournament in both.  For his efforts, he along with partner Steven Georgian were awarded Best Doubles Team for the Pearl River team.  He was also awarded the Team Leader Award.

During the fall, Bracey competed in the 2009 Wilson/ITA Southern Championships.  He was a finalist in the singles consolation draw and, with partner Blake Johnson, he won the doubles consolation draw.
