Slade is in his first year of competition with the Pearl River Wildcat Tennis Team after participating as a team manager his freshman year. He is the son of James and Theresa Slade of Waveland, Mississippi. Before coming to Pearl River last year, he was a part of the Bay High School tennis program for two years and went undefeated in mixed doubles competition his senior year. He was awarded Most Valuable Player for efforts during both years of participation. Slade has also been a member of the Pearl River Wildcat Soccer team for two years.
