In 2008 Johnson's club team (Hampshire) made the 2008 national club finals. winner of 5 junior regional tournaments in both singles and doubles. Played in the national championships for the UK
in both singles and doubles.
Mother Anne has one other son Simon who is a regional development manager for the LTA.
