Cassandra Price earned four varsity letters in tennis at Deland High School in Florida. She was also named team MVP all four years. She led her team to 2 State Finals appearances, placing 2nd and 4th. She and her doubles partner made another trip to the state championship, making it to the semi-finals. She was named to the All-Conference and All-District teams all four years. She was also a scholar athlete, graduating with honors and a 4.3 GPA. As a junior player she was ranked in the top 40 in the Florida section and was chosen to represent the state of Florida in the Zonals in the 12s, 14s, and 16s age divisions. She and her doubles partner made it to the finals of the Southern Open and the Florida State Closed Tournaments. She is the daughter of Bill and Danielle Price and is majoring in Finance. Recipient of the "Outstanding Student Award", which is given to only 2 freshmen, 2 sophomores, 2 juniors, 3 seniors, and 4 graduate students as a recognition for their accomplishments as a Radford University student. Moreover, Cassandra earned the Big South Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2006 and 2007 and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. She is also vice-president of Beta Gamma Sigma and vice-president of financial management association. On her free time, Cassandra tutors other student athletes.
