 Paul VandenBoogaard

Paul VandenBoogaard took over the reins of the Ripon College Men's Tennis team in the 2007 season. VandenBoogaard filled some big shoes, taking over a program which was led by Chuck Larson for 38 years. Larson built a program with unprecedented success that VandenBoogaard hopes to keep running strong.

VandenBoogaard is no stranger to Ripon College. He was a member of the men's tennis team from 2003-06, where he played number one singles and number one doubles during his last three years. As a freshman, VandenBoogaard won the singles and doubles conference titles playing number three singles and number two doubles. VandenBoogaard also helped lead Ripon to a team championship that season. VandenBoogaard graduated from Ripon College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.

VandenBoogaard is originally from Oshkosh, Wis., where he attended Oshkosh North High School. While at North, VandenBoogaard won the state doubles championship during his senior year at North.
