I was born in Piracicaba, 30 minutes away away from where I live now. I grew up playing soccer, swimming and roller blading. I started playing tennis when I was 12, when a friend invited me to go play with him; it was that day that I liked the sport. After that, I started taking lessons at a club and practiced harder and harder each day. However, I started playing tournaments only when I was 15. In my freshman year of High School I saw an opportunity to go to the USA and play tennis and study at the same time. This motivated me to work harder and also improve on my English. After one year and 4 months I graduated from that English class and came to riverside with my room mate Daniel, who I met for the first time at the airport.
I love playing tennis and coaching, which is my goal to have one of my own academies for new players in Brazil. I love my family and I always try to talk with them while I am here in the USA.
