FALL After a year off, captured the championship flight one at the Florida Southern Invitational to open up the Fall season. Reached the second round of the ITA Regional in singles and teamed with David Tafur to make the final 16 in doubles. Concluded the fall season by finishing runner-up at the Varner Invitational… 2003-04 Was named All-American for the third time in his career and the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year. Earned first team SSC honors in both doubles and singles, playing in the No. 1 position. Was also named CoSIDA Academic All-America and to the All-SSC Academic Honor Roll. Finished the year with a perfect 26-0 mark at No. 1 singles after going 5-2 in the fall season. Teamed with Mark Thompson to go 23-5 playing No. 1 doubles. Was named SSC Player of the Week six times… 2002-03 Went 15-7 in the spring season and was named All-American. Posted a 6-2 record in the fall season, reaching the finals of the Varner Invitational and the semi-finals of the ITA Regional Tournament. Reached as high as sixth in the Division II singles rankings. Named first team All-SSC in both singles and doubles while also being named the Player of the Week twice. Went 13-3 in doubles, earning a number six ranking… 2001-02 Recorded an 18-2 mark in singles play and twice beat the top ranked player in Division II. Was twice named the SSC Player of the Week and earned first team All-conference honors in singles… HIGH SCHOOL A former member of the Brazilian National Team and has been ranked as high as 485 in ATP singles play.
