Thompson played through numerous injuries in 2003 and posted a 15-8 singles record to earn his third All-Sunshine State Conference selection. Went 4-2 during the fall season. Teamed with Carlos Custodio a year ago to be the sixth-ranked doubles team in NCAA II, going 13-3 and earning all-conference honors. Thompson was the #47 player in NCAA II in 2003 and was named SSC Player of the Week once. Was named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District At Large Team. Notched a 48-0 record over freshman and sophomore years. In 2002 was named ITA Regional Player to Watch. Was ranked #12 in singles during freshman year. Teamed with Drew Sipka in 2001 to go 15-3 and earn a spot on the All-SSC team. In fall 2001, advanced to the finals of the ITA Regional before falling to the #2 seed in the championship match. Was a member of the 2000 New Zealand Davis Cup team.
