Soffes is a solid veteran who will play in the middle of the Tars’ lineup in 2004. Looking to be regionally ranked again this season. This fall she teamed with Vanessa Caddick to win the top doubles flight at the Stetson Invitational. Soffes earned Honorable Mention selection on the All-Sunshine State Conference team as a sophomore last season. She also was named an ITA National Scholar-Athlete for her work in the classroom. In 2003, Soffes went 18-9 playing number three singles for the majority of the season. She went 17-15 overall in doubles, teaming with Allie Nichols and Frances Giron. Went 8-10 in singles and 14-10 as a doubles player during freshman season. At Inglemoor High School, she won the singles championship at the Washington State High School Tournament once, and reached the finals on two other occasions. Member of state championship team in 2000 and 2001.
