Larry Sundby begins his 22nd season with the Huskies' tennis program in 2009.  The longtime head coach of the SCSU women's program, Sundby now serves as an assistant coach for the men's and women's programs to head coach Jerry Anderson.  Sundby stepped down as the SCSU women's coach in 2005.

In 18 seasons at SCSU as the University's women's tennis coach, Sundby compiled a 311-129 record and led the Huskies to three North Central Conference titles in 1988, 1990 and 1991. He was voted the North Central Conference Coach of the Year in 1988 and 1991.  Sundby has also led SCSU to NCAA Division II tournament bids in 1995, 2003 and 2004.
       
Sundby is in his 27th season overall as a high school and collegiate tennis coach. As a tennis coach, his teams have compiled a 439-171 overall record.  He was recognized as the Minnesota High School Girl's Class AA Tennis Coach of the Year in 1992.   In 2006, Sundby received a North Central Conference Honor Award.  Sundby is a professor emeritus of accounting at St. Cloud State University.
