Jeremy Butanis returns for his third year as the No. 1 seed in both singles and doubles play. He hails from Fallston in Harford County and played four years of tennis at Fallston HS earning three trips to the Maryland State Tennis Tournament in all three divisions: singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. A transfer from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC), Butanis is currently majoring in physics. He received the Coaches Award as a sophomore last year and is a two-year captain earning Team MVP his junior year.
