Played mostly at the #2 singles and #1 doubles with Marcus Echtler.

Prior to Stetson:

Boulanov represented Florida at the 2005 Junior Davis Cup and finished with a 3-1 record at the event where he defeated the #27 player in the nation, Rook Schellenberg from the Texas team. Other significant victories in 2005 came over #9 Attila Bucko, #16 Mixson Bradley, #18 Aaron Carpenter, #21 George Navas and #28 Matthew Brewer. Boulanov obtain a ranking of #41 in the nation in June 2005 and Florida ranking of #4.
