SENIOR (FALL 2005): Finished the fall season with a record of 3-3 in singles play...Posted a convincing win over Conor Pollock (7-6, 6-3) of Texas A&M on Oct. 14...Finished 5-4 doubles play, while pairing with junior Radu Barbu...Posted a convincing 8-1 victory over the Santa Clara duo of Kevin McQuaid and Bobby Rasmussen...Had a convincing 5-1 doubles record for the fall season...Landed the No. 9 doubles regional ranking with Radu Barbu for the spring season. FRESHMAN (2002-03): Played a key role in helping Tyler Junior College win its second straight National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) championship and ninth since 1988...Was an ITA All-American in singles and doubles, making him one of only five players in the country to achieve the honor in both...Ended the year ranked fourth in the country in singles...He and teammate Dash Connell were rated first in the country in doubles by season's end...Won the national championship at No. 2 singles at the 2003 NJCAA Championships in Plano, Texas...Defeated German Dalmagro from Abraham Baldwin in the final, 6-3, 6-1...Teamed with Connell to snag the No. 1 doubles crown at the championships...Upended Dalmagro and Gaston Verna in the title match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4...Won the junior college division at the ITA Small College Championships in October in Corpus Christi, Texas, by defeating teammate Mark Growcott in the final, 7-5, 6-0...They defeated Adam Shepard and Roger Pestore from Georgia Perimeter in the doubles championship, 8-4.
