SPRING 2012 (SENIOR)
Made his way into the singles lineup for the first time against Texas Tech ... Grabbed his first win of the spring against Juan Estenssoro of Wichita State, a 6-3, 6-4 triumph ... Followed with a 6-1, 7-5 win in his next match against UT Arlington ... Had wins over players from Arizona, Rice and SMU in the nonconference ... Conference wins came against San Diego State (6-4, 6-7, 6-3) and Air Force (6-2, 6-0) ... Made plenty of noise in the doubles lineup, tallying a 10-12 record ... Trailed only Nick Chappell for most doubles matches played on the team ... Settled into the lineup late in the year with Chappell ... The freshman duo had wins over Tulsa, Oklahoma, Air Force, SMU and Boise State ... Against Boise State in the Mountain West semifinals, the tandem picked up TCU's lone win ... Won the first two matches of his collegiate career at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational ... Was a 6-4, 6-1 winner over SMU's Max Ando-Hirsch in his debut ... Followed with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 downing of Texas A&M's John Lewis ... Had two wins at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional Championships, both coming in straight-set fashion ... Had wins over Rice's Leif Berger and Andy Wang at the Southwest Conference Shootout.
