Lloyd is entering his fourth season for the Golden Eagles. His heighth and strength has given him much success in doubles over the years and has overpowered many opponenets on the singles court. He has helped to contribute to consecutive OVC conference fights over the years, and hopes to help lead the team to a championship his final year. At Tech Fall 2010 (SENIOR): Lloyd continued to show impressive results in doubles this fall season with an undefeated record of 3-0. Teamed with partner James Crawford, who has shared the court with Lloyd in many doubles matches together since their freshman year (2007-08), the duo captured three consecutive wins at the UTC Fall CLassic earning them the third-flight championship title. Lloyd went 0-4 in singles this fall. He opened up the season with a hard fought battle in the UNCG Invitational before falling 6-3, 1-6, 4-6 to Trent Cobb from UT Chatanooga. Lloyd also proved his success in the classroom, when he was chosen to represent Tennessee Tech at the inaugural NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in Orlando, Florida. The purpose of this Leadership forum was to enhance leadership skills necessary for the development of student-athletes. Lloyd was one of two athletes chosen from Tech for his academic success and leadership qualities as a student-athlete.
In 2009-2010 (Junior): Lloyd had his best season at Tech this spring, starting off the season with a 6-0 singles winning streak. Playing the six position for Tech, Lloyd ended the fall and spring season with an overall 10-4 singles record. Paired with Alex Chen for the spring season, Lloyd held an overall 12-8 doubles record. One of the oldest on the team, Lloyd knew what it took to help guide the team to the conference tournament where they placed second overall. He did not drop a singles match in OVC matches, with a 3-0 record, and held a 3-3 OVC doubles record as well. Lloyd won the last seven out of ten matches he played and hopes to continue that success on into next season. Lloyd had an impact in doubles, teaming with Yianni Doropoulos to post a 6-0 record in the fall tournament schedule...went 3-2 in singles.

In 2008-09 (Sophomore): Lloyd saw limited action in the Golden Eagle lineup, posting an 0-4 record in singles matches and going 2-8 in doubles...both of his wins came when he was paired with Alex Chen late in the fall season.

In 2007-08 (Freshman): Lloyd played primarily in a support role during his freshman season... picked up five singles wins...team up with three different partners for seven doubles wins... played No. 3 doubles during the OVC Tournament. Before Tech:  Lloyd attended King Edward VII School of Houghton, South Africa..was flyhalf on the Rugby team and opening batsman for the Cricket team...received Tennis "colours" which are the South African equivalent of varsity letters and also a Tennis team blazer...helped his school Tennis team to be finalists in the Wayne Ferrera Interschool Challenge...ranked top 10 in his class in the first semester of his senior year in high school.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Brenda Harris of Johannesburg, South Africa...born on December 21, 1988... majoring in exercise science with a concentration in physical therapy.
