IN 2008: Dean had one of the best freshman seasons at Tech...was named First-Team All-OVC while going 19-4 in singles and 13-6 in doubles...played number one doubles and two singles....helped Tech claim the OVC regular season title.
BEFORE TECH: Dean was a strong player on the Junior ITF circuit ranking #1 in South Africa...played tennis at Earl Grainger Tennis Academy and swam the breaststroke and butterfly while attending St. Stithians College...ranked as high as #297 in the world in junior rankings...received academic colors all four years.
