Artem enrolled at Tech in January and joined the team mid-season...will be available to see his first collegiate action during the 2012 dual match season.
At Tech- (In Fall Semester): Arteem set out the first half of the season, but still managed to post a overall 4-4 singles record. He won his first 4 games and won the first tournament he played in this season as well. In doubles action he paired up with Vasily Eremeev and the pair posted a 2-4 record.
In 2011-2012: Artem enrolled at Tech in January and joined the team mid-season. As a Golden Eagle, Artem posted a 3-16 overall record in singles. In doubles his overall record was 8-11 with all eight of the wins coming when he was paired with Vasily Eremeev.
BEFORE TECH: Artem has played in more than 40 ITF tournaments throughout Asia and Eastern Europe including events in Kazakhstan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and the Ukraine...he played in the Grade 2 finals in doubles and won Grade 4 doubles…received an ITF ranking of 258…attended high school at the College of the Olympic Reserves.
PERSONAL: Artem is the son of Dmitriy Tarasov and Milena Klevantsova…full name Artem Tarasov…majoring in business administration.
