Had an overall singles record of 11-8 and a dual match record of 2-3…Saw action mainly at No. 5 and 6…Compiled an overall doubles record of 6-5 with partners Dash Connell, Zack Malmgren, Alex Strom and Bryan Wooten…Went 9-5 in fall singles action…Tallied a 3-0 singles mark and a 2-0 doubles mark at the Polo Tennis National Collegiate Preview in Tulsa, Okla…Reached the semifinals of the UTSA/Sonterra Invitational…Also saw action at the Texas Invitational, ITA Regional and A&M Invitational…Won the singles championship at the ITA Summer Circuit stop at UT-Arlington…Reached the semifinals the week prior at Colin CC.
FRESHMAN (2002-03)
Clinched the South Florida match which sent the Aggies to their fourth NCAA Sweet 16 appearance…Posted an overall singles record of 25-21 and a dual match record of 18-14…Saw action mainly at No. 5 and 6…Went 4-3 in Big 12 matches…Had an overall doubles record of 17-20 with partners Khaled El Dorry, Cameron Fenner and Matt Loucks…Teammed with Loucks and compiled a 16-17 overall record and 10-11 mark in dual play…Clinched the team wins against Colorado, Oklahoma and South Florida…Accounted for two of the Aggies’ three singles points in the win over South Florida…During the fall, reached the consolation singles semifinals in his first collegiate tournament at the Balloon Fiesta Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M…Fell to teammate Khaled El Dorry in the consolation semifinals…Combined with teammate Loucks to reach the doubles semifinals at the USTA Fairway Oaks Invitational in San Antonio.
