JUNIOR (2006-07)
For the second consecutive season, led the Aggies in singles victories with a 27-11 overall record…Posted back-to-back 20-win seasons…One of three players on the team to compile 10-or-more victories with a 15-7 record in dual match play…Started off the spring season on an eight-match winning streak including a singles title at the Rice Indoors on Jan. 21…Went 2-4 against Big 12 competition and 0-2 versus ranked opponents…Clinched the Tulsa match…Recorded the second-best overall doubles record (23-14) on the team…Partnered with Conor Pollock (19-8), John Nallon (2-2) and Jerry Makowski (1-2)…Teamed with Pollock and posted a 3-3 record against league foes to earn a share of the Big 12 No. 2 doubles title with Oklahoma’s Rob McKenzie and Vaclav Kucera…It marked his second Big 12 doubles title of his career next to a No. 3 doubles title in 2005 with Makowski…Also captured the doubles title at the University of Texas Invitational with Pollock in fall tournament play…Went an undefeated 5-0 against singles players hailing from North Carolina, Illinois and Georgetown at the Scott Treibly IMG College Tennis Challenge in October 2006…Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection.
SOPHOMORE (2005-06)
Team captain…Led the Aggies in singles victories with a 25-8 overall record…Co-leader on the team in dual wins at 16-5…Won 13 of his final 16 matches including eight of his final 10…Won seven-straight matches during the heart of the season…Captured first five Big 12 matches…Was 5-1 in Big 12 competition…Was ranked as high as No. 117 in the FILA/ITA Rankings…Saw action in the lower half of the singles lineup…Used a three-hour and 20-minute three-set match to clinch win over Baylor… Followed that less than 24 hours later with another three-set victory to help beat Texas Tech on the road…Then played three sets to win his match against Pepperdine…Was named Big 12 Player of the Week for his efforts…Posted a 19-9 record in doubles play…Teamed with five partners including Jerry Makowski, Marcus Lunt, Brett Joelson, John Nallon, and Conor Pollock…Went 10-6 with Makowski in doubles…A Second Team Academic All-Big 12 selection for the second-straight year…A Verizon/Texas A&M Scholar Athlete…During fall tournament competition, posted an 8-3 overall record in singles and 4-2 in doubles…Won the USTA Invitational in singles and doubles…Used four-straight sets singles wins for the title and teamed with Marcus Lunt for the doubles title…Reached the quarterfinals in singles at the Texas Invitational…Also played in the Baylor Invitational and the ITA South Central Regional.
FRESHMAN (2004-05)
Big 12 No. 3 Doubles Champion with teammate Jerry Makowski…Named team’s Aggie Heart Award recipient…Midseason addition to the every day singles lineup…Put together an 8-5 dual match record as part of his 15-9 overall mark…Was 3-2 in the Big 12…Saw action in the lower half of the singles lineup…Was 16-7 in doubles and teamed with five partners including Makowski, Mohamed Dakki and Bryan Wooten…A Second Team Academic All-Big 12 selection…A Verizon/Texas A&M Scholar Athlete…Clinched the regular season Colorado match…In the fall, compiled a 7-4 record in singles and 4-0 record in doubles competition…Posted a 2-1 record at the AUDI/Napa Valley Classic with singles wins over Georgia and Illinois…Tallied a 2-1 singles record at the Hurricane Invitational at Tulsa…Was 2-1 in doubles with teammate Bryan Wooten at Tulsa…Reached the Round of 32 at the ITA Regional in singles play…Wrapped up the fall with a 2-1 record in singles and doubles at the Texas A&M Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL and JUNIOR CAREER
A 2003 graduate of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas…One of the most improved junior players nationally…A top 100 player and a solid doubles competitor…Ranked among the top 3 in the state of Texas…Reached the doubles finals as the top seed at a USTA National Open Championship in February of 2002…Also reached the Round of 16 in singles during that same tournament…Reached the singles finals at the 2002 Houston Coca-Cola Super Championship Major Zone…At the Texas Summer Grand Slam in June of 2002, advanced to the doubles final and ended his singles run in the Round of 16…Closed out the year by reaching the doubles final at the USTA Super National Winter Championships…Also lettered in cross country.
