A fun-loving player who works hard and continues to improve her all-court game while competing for playing time…A baseliner with relentless groundstrokes, hits two-handed off both sides…Is consistent with her groundstrokes, but also has become more proficient at looking for shots that give her another weapon…A tenacious competitor.

2002-03 (FRESHMAN): Was a mainstay in the Aggies' singles lineup in her inaugural season…Posted an overall record of 16-22, including 12-16 in dual matches, as well as 7-4 in Big 12 competition…Played the majority of her dual matches at No. 6 singles …Twice had a season-high four-match winning streak…Teamed with freshman cohort Nicki Mechem at No. 3 doubles, where the pair posted a 10-10 mark in dual matches, including a 5-3 record in conference play.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played one year at the Walker School in Marietta, Georgia, after moving from Juneau, Alaska…Was named the Cobb County Player of the Year in 2002…In juniors, received the Indoor National Sportsmanship Award for 16s and the Zonal Sportsmanship Award for 14s …Was ranked as high as 32nd nationally in 16s…In 18s, was No. 5 in the USTA Southern Section and ranked as high as 60th in the national rankings…Made official recruiting visits to LSU, University of Richmond and Indiana University, in addition to Texas A&M.
