2005-2006: Won the National Qualifying Tournament in Mexico City, Mexico to advance to represent Mexico and Texas Tech at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey...fell in the second round of the tournament to Jan Riha of the Czech Republic, 6-4, 6-2...in the fall went 3-4 in singles action with wins over Texas, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Texas A&M...played doubles with Michael Breler with an overall record of 4-2, including a win over Texas, 9-8...during the regular season played in the no. 2 singles position...had a overall record of 13-6, 3-3 in conference, with one unfinished match against Texas' no. 36 ranked Roger Gubser...teamed with Michael Breler in the no. 2 doubles spot with an overall record of 5-10, 2-5 in conference play...also paired with Sinisa Markovic against Lamar wining 8-2...honored as the Big 12 Player of the Week in March 2006...named to the 2006 Academic All-Big 12 first-team and All-Big 12 tennis singles first-team.
