Bill Simpson is in his first year as the assistant coach for The Citadel tennis team.

A native of Hilton Head, Simpson joined the Bulldog family from Coker where he had served as the assistant coach for the Cobras since May 2012. Prior to his time in Hartsville, Simpson was the assistant tennis professional at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, S.C.

Simpson spent summers from 2006-10 at Smith Stearns Tennis Academy in Hilton Head where he taught private lessons and group clinics. He has spent over five years teaching and traveling with world class junior tennis players.

Simpson played collegiately at Coker where he earned a degree in sports management.
