2008 – Fall David went 3-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles in fall action. He made it to the quarterfinals in singles and doubles in the ITA Southwest Regional Championship. He finished the fall ranked #18 in singles and #7 in doubles. 2008 – Spring David posted a 14-3 singles record playing primarily in the #4 spot. He was 17-4 playing #1 doubles primarily with Dustin Phillips for the Patriots. The pair became the first players in UT Tyler history to qualify for the NCAA Division III Doubles Championships. David finished the year ranked #31 in singles and #3 in doubles in the West Region. They were also #15 in the nation in doubles in the final ITA Division III Poll. He was named ASC All Conference, First team East Division, Academic All-Conference, and voted Doubles Team of the Year by his teammates. 2007 - Spring David went 3-5 at No.1 Singles and 6-6 at No.1 Doubles through an injury plagued season. He earned 2nd team ASC East Division Honors and was also an ITA Scholar Athlete. 2006 – Fall David made the singles final and doubles semifinal at the ASC Individual Championships in Flight No.1 of both events. In the ITA Regional Championships, David progressed to the round of 16 in singles and the semifinals in doubles. David posted an overall fall record of 5-2 in singles and doubles. 2007 - Spring David went 3-5 at No.1 Singles and 6-6 at No.1 Doubles through an injury plagued season.
