2008 – Fall Robert posted a 8-1 singles and 6-1 doubles record during fall play. He was the champion of the ASC Individual Championships in Flight #1 both singles and doubles. He also made it to the singles final and doubles semifinal at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships. He finished the fall ranked #5 in singles and #13 in doubles in the West Region. He has also ranked #25 in the Fall National Rankings. 2008 – Spring Robert went 9-7 in singles playing mainly at the #2 spot. He finished the year ranked #9 in the West Region and #36 in the nation in singles. He played #2 doubles with Steven Campbell and posted a 14-3 mark. They were ranked #12 as a team in the West Region in doubles. He was named ASC All Conference, East Division 2nd Team, ITA West Region Rookie of the Year, and ITA Scholar Athlete.
