April Hibbs was born on November 19th, 1983 in Longview, Texas. She lived in Louisiana for 8 years and then moved to Shiner at the end of her freshmen year. She has participated in varsity cross country her sophomore-senior years, varsity basketball freshmen-senior years, was Academic All-District for basketball her junior year, Academic All-State her senior year. She is a member of the National Honor Society, was Girls' State her junior year and was a junior high mentor.
She's a member at Shiner Baptist Church where her dad is the Pastor. She has traveled on a mission trip to Nebraska and teaches Team Kid to Pre K-6th grade at Sunday School. Her hobbies include: reading, going shopping, hanging out with friends and listening to music.
She will graduate from Shiner High School in May 2002 and plans to major in Biology/PreMed at The University of Texas at Tyler.
