2008 – Fall
Michelle went 5-2 in singles and 9-2 in doubles in fall action. She made it to the finals in Flight No.2 in singles and was the Flight No.1 Doubles Champion at the ASC Individual Championships. At the ITA Regional Championships she made the singles quarterfinals and was crowned the doubles champions (with Beth Launius), advancing to the Small College National Championships, a first in UT-Tyler history, taking 6th place. Michelle finished the season ranked #2 in doubles and #20 in singles for the west region.
2008 – Spring
Michelle went 18-2 at #3 singles and 15-4 at #2 doubles in dual matches. She was named ASC All-Conference, East Division First Team, and ASC Tournament MVP. She was also voted Player of the Year for singles and doubles by her teammates.
