At Air Force –

2004-05 (Jr.) – Advanced to the NCAA Division I Singles Championships after posting an outstanding 25-2 overall singles record … became first player in program history to win a match at the NCAA’s, defeating Josh Cohen of Miami, 6-0, 2-6, 6-4, in the first round … fell to Izak van der Merwe of Old Dominion, 6-3, 6-2, in the second round … had won 17 straight matches before that loss … did not lose a set in the first 16 matches of the streak … ranked No. 57 in the country following the season … became AFA’s career leader in singles winning percentage at 91.9 percent (65-6) … All-MWC selection in singles for the third consecutive season … posted a 5-1 record in singles and doubles during the fall season … had a great run at the ITA/Icy Hot All-America Championships, advancing to the round of 16 in singles with a 6-3, 6-1 upset of the nation’s #3 ranked player, Jesse Witten of Kentucky … advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles with Tyler McClung after winning five straight matches, including two over top 10 teams in the country.

 

2003-04 (So.) – Battled an ankle injury right before starting conference play … played only two conference matches … posted a 26-6 overall singles record and an 18-4 mark at the No. 1 position … combined with McClung for a 17-8 doubles record … All-MWC selection in singles and doubles … MWC Player of the Week Feb. 18 … finished the season ranked 45th in the country.

 

2002-03 (Fr.) - First Falcon freshman ever to qualify for the NCAA Division I Singles Championships … posted a 31-4 overall singles record and a 26-1 mark at No. 1 singles ... finished the season ranked No. 74 in the country … lost his first-round match at the NCAA Championships to Mark Van Elder of Oklahoma State, 7-5, 6-0 … tied the school record for most wins at No. 1 singles in one season (26) … posted the second-best winning percentage (.963) for one season by any position player in school history … MWC Co-Player of the Year … rookie of the year honor for the Mountain Region of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association … cruised through the MWC schedule, winning all five regular season matches and three more at the conference tournament.
