AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Was a huge contributor in 2007 in both singles and doubles. Following a superb freshman year, Kazumi went 15-8 in singles at the #3, 4, 5, & 6 spots in his sophomore year. In doubles, teaming mostly with Bijan Moallemi at #3, he went 16-6. AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Went 13-9 individually while climbing as high as the No. 3 spot on the ladder during his first season with the Tritons... was 0-1 from the No.3 spot, 2-1 from the No. 4 spot, 11-6 from the No. 5 spot, and 0-1 at No. 6...led the Tritons with 17 doubles wins with three different partners... went 0-1 with Steven Oechel and 2-3 with Ramesh Thondapu from the No. 3 position... enjoyed his most doubles success with Eric Rubens, as the pair went 13-2 from the No.3 and 2-0 from the No. 2 spots on the ladder. HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of El Cerrito High School in El Cerrito, Calif... was a four-time team MVP... part of the 2004 ACCAC Doubles Championship team... also lettered in golf.
