AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Unfortunately for Ramesh, he had an injury filled year. However, despite the injuries he was able to go 5-5 in singls and 3-2 in doubles action.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Led the Tritons with 15 wins in singles play during his first year on the UCSD campus... compiled an overall record of 15-9... went 11-7 from the No. 6 spot on the ladder, 3-2 from the No. 5 spot, and 1-0 from the No. 4 spot... went 4-4 in doubles play with three different partners... went 0-1 with Steven Oechel from the No. 3 position... went 2-0 with Eric Oijala and 2-3 with Kazumi Negishi from the No. 3 spot.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Golden Valley High School in Merced, Calif... attended Duke University before transferring to UCSD...helped high school team advance to the quarterfinals of the CIF San Joaquin Valley Section in 2004 where they lost to six-time defending champion Jesuit High School... team posted a 14-2 record in 2004 and finished as the Central California Conference runner-up... compiled a four-year regular and postseason record of 70-13.
