AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: In the fall of 2007, Bijan qualified for the ITA National Singles tournament, where he finished fifth in the Nation. He is currently ranked #6 in Division II.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: In Singles play, he started at the #1 & #2 positions for the Tritons. He ended the year with a 11-9 record in singles, and a National Ranking in the Top 40 players in Division II. In doubles play, he teamed mostly with Kazumi Negishi at #3, posting a total doubles record of 16-6 on the year.
HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2006 graduate of La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad, Calif... was ranked 9th in the USTA B16 in 2005 and 8th by USTA B14 in 2003... ranked 1st by SCTA B14 in 2002 and by USTA B12 in 2001.
PERSONAL:
Born June 14, 1988... parents are Kamran and Lisa Moallemi... Kamran previously attended UCSD... has one younger sibling named Keivan... an undeclared major at Thurgood Marshall College...enjoys tennis, soccer, ping-pong, and music in his free time.
