2002 Fall – Posted a 4-6 record in singles competition… advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten singles tournament consolation bracket… competed in the Icy Hot/ITA Men’s All-American Championships pre-qualifying bracket… went 2-4 in doubles competition with Johan Bergenas (2-3) and Hunter Skogman (0-1).

 

2002 Spring – One of three Hawkeyes to be named team Most Valuable Player… led the team in winning percentage .723 with a 13-5 dual record… went 3-1 at the No. 5 and 10-5 at the No. 6 singles positions… held a seven-match winning streak before having to retire in match vs. Ohio State’s Paul Warketin… scored Iowa’s only point in a 6-1 loss to then third-ranked Illinois… went 12-10 at the No. 3 doubles position with teammates Petar Mandic (12-8) and Tres Jones (0-2).

 

2001 Fall – Went 2-3 in singles competition, playing in the B Flights of the Harvard and Boilermaker Invitational… went 1-4 in doubles competition.

 

2001 Spring -- Went 5-5 in dual singles competition at the No. 4-6 positions... recorded a 10-11 doubles record with teammate Hunter Skogman at the No. 3 position.

 

2000 Fall -- Recorded a team leading 4-5 doubles record with teammate Hunter Skogman... went 4-6 in singles competition.

 

2000 Spring -- Went 0-2 in singles competition at the No. 6 position... recorded an 8-8 doubles record at the No. 3 position... was one of three players to receive the team’s John Winnie Scholar-Athlete Award.

 

1999 Fall -- Recorded a 3-3 singles record... went 1-3 in doubles competition.

 

High School -- Was state champion in doubles competition his sophomore year... had a career record of 90-8... was a member of state championship teams freshman though junior year... was all-conference all four years and all-state sophomore through senior year... was team captain and MVP senior year... recipient of the New Trier Athlete Leadership Award...  was on the honor roll and an Illinois State Scholar... coach was John Schneiter.
