2002 Fall – Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Omni Hotels Midwest Region Championships, posting a 3-1 record… advanced to the round of 32 at the Icy Hot/ITA Men’s All-American Championships qualifying round… went 2-1 at the Baylor Intercollegiate, advancing to the round of 16… entered the Big Ten Singles tournament as the top seed… withdrew from the tournament in the second round due to injury… posted an 8-7 singles record and a 2-3 record in doubles competition with Justin Gaard.

 

2002 Spring – Became the 15th Iowa men’s tennis athlete to earn all-Big Ten honors and the 28th all-conference selection in school history… one of three Hawkeyes to be named team MVP… finished the season ranked 13th in the Midwest region and 108th nationally… named Big Ten Player of the Week (Apr. 3) after recording wins over then No. 68 Jamie Gresh of Penn State and No. 20 Phil Metz of Ohio State… received his first collegiate singles ranking at No. 95 (Apr. 3)… went 6-5 versus ranked opponents… went 14-8 in singles competition, playing solely at the No. 1 position… also teamed with Justin Gaard to go 10-11 at the No. 1 doubles position.

 

2001 Fall – Went 7-6 in singles competition, tying for the team high in singles wins… competed in the pre-qualifying round of the All-American Tournament, winning his first round match before being defeated in the second round… reached the semifinals of the Big Ten Singles main draw consolation final… finished 2-3 in doubles competition.

 

2001 Spring -- Went 14-13 in singles competition at the No. 2 position... recorded the second most singles wins on the team... went 4-6 in Big Ten dual competition... recorded a team leading 13-8 doubles record with teammate Tyler Cleveland at the No. 1 position.

 

2000 Fall -- Won his A flight bracket at the Purdue Invitational... recorded a singles record of 5-6... went 2-6 in doubles competition with teammate Jake Wilson.

 

2000 Spring -- Posted a singles record of 6-18... went 2-9 at the No. 2 position and 2-7 at the No. 3 position in singles competition... recorded a doubles record of 9-12 at the No. 1 position.

 

1999 Fall --  Finished the season with a 6-7 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record.

 

High School -- Was the Class A high school state champion during junior year... was the Class A state runner-up during his senior year... member of the National Honor Society... earned all-state and all-city academic honors all four years... coach was John Waterman.
