2004 Fall – competed in five singles matches… competed in the qualifying round of the Big Ten Singles Championships… teamed with J.P. Ritchie, Bart van Monsjou and Andrew Holm to record a 3-2 record in doubles play.

2004 Spring – Posted three consecutive singles victories in Iowa’s wins over DePaul, Marquette and Indiana State… recorded a 4-14 singles record (1-1 at No. 4, 0-11 at No. 5, 3-2 at No. 6)… registered a 4-14 record in doubles competition (0-5 at No. 2, 4-9 at No. 3)… went 2-1 teamed with Jonny Hoak at No. 2 doubles… in their first match as a doubles duo, teamed with Matis Jasicek to post a win over Illinois’ Michael Calkins and Evan Zeder at No. 3 singles.

2003 Fall – Recorded a 5-6 record in singles competition… recorded a victory in the first round of the Big Ten singles tournament… posted a 3-2 record at the Wisconsin Invitational… posted a 4-4 record in doubles competition… went 2-1 teamed with Scott Elwell.

Previous School -- Posted a singles record of 23-9 and a doubles record of 26-4... was a doubles conference champion... singles conference runner-up... team finished 18th nationally in Division III, it's highest ranking in school history... team was 2003 conference champion... coach was Eric Gorman.   

High School -- Compiled a three-year singles record of 67-17... placed fifth in state singles competition... conference singles champion as freshman, sophomore and junior... advanced to the round of 16 at state meet as a freshman and sophomore... coach was Ruth Kent... also lettered in soccer and cross country... member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal – Born 4/1/84… parents are Dale and Vicky Schaechterle... has a twin brother Adam that plays tennis at Northwestern... father played tennis for Cedarville College (OH)... pre-med major.
