2000-01:
Competed at the No. 6 singles position for most of season and saw action at the No. 3 doubles spot… Went 10-5 in dual match singles play and finished her sophomore campaign with a 20-10 overall record… Picked up a big straight-sets win over 80th-ranked Anne Nguyen of Georgia in the SEC Fall Tournament… Cruised past Kim Plaushines, 6-1, 6-0, in UK’s win over Michigan… Defeated Georgia’s Alexandra Smith at the No. 6 position in the Cats/Dawgs dual match… Along with her win at Georgia, Trefethen picked up key wins in conference dual matches against Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss… In doubles action, Trefethen and partner Jill Buckley advanced to the quarterfinals at the ITA Southeast Regional… Shutout Arkansas’ Adriana Lopez and Julia Boyadjieva in the SEC Tournament’s opening round… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

1999-00
With her athleticism, helped the Cats with big wins in close matches... Won three qualifying round matches to reach the main draw of the ITA/Rolex Southeast Regional Fall Championships... Destroyed Alice Hansen of UNC-Charlotte, 6-2, 6-0, in the first round of main draw at the Rolex Southeast Regional Fall Championship... Big win over Caroline Hill of North Carolina at the No. 4 position in the Cats 5-4 team victory... Critical comeback victories over Olga Mihkailova of Tulane and Ann Poosuthasee of Indiana to lead UK to 5-4 wins... Recorded a team high 3.63 grade point average for the 2000 spring semester.
