Completed the fall with several big accomplishments to her credit, finishing with an impressive 10-6 singles record and a 14-3 doubles record… Positioned at No. 59 in singles and No. 10 in doubles by the ITA preseason rankings… Competed in both the ITA All-American Championship and ITA National Indoor Championship… On her way to being the ITA Southeast Regional singles runner-up and claiming an automatic bid to the National Indoors, Witten grabbed several impressive wins including a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 victory over 29th-ranked Julie Rotondi of North Carolina and a 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 triumph over 16th-ranked Alison Ojeda of Tennessee. While at the National Indoors, Witten defeated No. 82 Aleksandra Durska of Tulsa to advance to the round of 16… Also finished as singles runner-up at the UT St. Mary’s Classic and the June Stewart Invitational… Along with partner Carolina Mayorga, earned spots at the All-American and National Indoors doubles draws… Picked up several big wins in prestigious competitions, including a 9-7 win over 33rd-ranked Monica Rincon and Erika Fisk of Ohio State and 8-1 rout of fourth-ranked Tiffany Brymer and Jewel Peterson of Southern Cal to win the consolation bracket of the All-American Championship… Defeated top teams from both North Carolina and Duke on the way to a ITA Southeast Regional runner-up finish… Upset fifth-ranked Alison Ojeda and Crystal Cleveland of Tennessee in the finals of the UT St. Mary’s Classic… Named PNC Bank Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 24… Served as the SAAC Representative for the women’s tennis team.

2000-01:
Moved up to take over the No. 2 singles spot for the Cats, while spending time at the No. 1 doubles position… Along with partner Carolina Mayorga, Witten earned All-American honors at the NCAA Doubles Championship by advancing to the quarterfinals… Peaked at 10th in the ITA doubles rankings and reached as high as 83rd in the singles rankings… She and Mayorga finished with a 26-14 record and defeated several highly-ranked opponents throughout the season, including sixth-ranked Simone Jardim and Kim Niggemeyer of Fresno State, tenth-ranked Kristina Kraszewski and Darija Klaic of Washington, 18th-ranked Bruna Colosio and Rocio Fantilli of LSU and 24th-ranked Alison Ojeda and Crystal Cleveland… Claimed the doubles title at the Lady Gamecock Fall Classic and qualified for the main draw of both the National Clay Court Championships and ITA All-American Championships… In singles action, Witten finished with a stellar 26-10 record, which included victories in 15 of her final 18 matches… Scored a straight-set victory over 39th-ranked Sarah Riske of Vanderbilt in the second round of the SEC Championship in UK’s near-upset of the fourth-ranked Commodores… Defeated All-American and 64th-ranked Lori Grey of Georgia in the UK/UGA dual match… Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regional by defeating 98th-ranked Vilmarie Castellvi of Tennessee 7-5, 6-4… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

1999-00
After a solid freshman campaign, Witten showed that she has the strength to battle at the top of the Cats' line-up... Played No. 3 for the Cats finishing the year with a 13-19 record despite being hampered by a shin injury... Notched an impressive straight-set win over 87th-ranked Julia Scaringe of Florida in the opening round of the SEC Fall Tournament... Beat No. 20 Celeste Frey of Ole Miss 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 to get the biggest win of her season... Teamed up with Mayorga to form UK's top doubles pair, ranking as high as No. 13... Finished the season 19-12 with three wins over top 50 opponents including an 8-3 win over 12-th ranked Kristy Blumberg and Kate Burson of Vanderbilt... Rolex Regional Indoor Champion with wins over 16th-ranked Siebel and Biro from Duke and Leigh Eichelberger and Lynn-Yin Tan of South Carolina... Clinched regular season finale with the third and final doubles victory in the Cats' 5-4 comeback win over Mississippi State.

Junior Career:
Ranked No. 8 in the 1998 Florida Girls 18s and No. 57 nationally... Made the round of 16 at the 1998 National Clay Courts... Won the doubles division at the 1998 Florida Open.
