As a Sophomore in 2001-02: Competed at the No. 1 singles position, compiling an overall record of 24-10…finished the spring season with a 13-5 record and the tournament season with an 11-5 mark…compiled a 20-14 doubles record last season…boasted a No. 59 ITA national ranking and a No.55 doubles ranking with partner Marcy Hora… was named the BIG EAST Tournament’s Most Valuable Player after recording a 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 112 Becky Varnum at the No. 1 spot in Miami’s 4-1 upset victory over No. 10 Notre Dame to capture the conference title… she defeated Anneliese Rose in three sets to clinch Miami’s 4-2 win over No. 35 FIU at the NCAA Regional Tournament…advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the Omni Hotels South Regional Tournament defeating Rochelle Goldthreate (6-0, 6-2) and Georgia’s Alexandra Smith (6-4, 0-6, 6-1)…she opened fall play with an upset victory (6-1, 6-2) over No.48 Becky Varnum of Notre Dame…opened the spring season with a 7-5, 4-6, 6-0 upset victory over No. 32 Viktoria Stoklasova of then-No. 25 Alabama…while ranked No. 63 in the nation, defeated No. 68 Jessyca Arthur (6-3, 7-5) of then-No. 19 William & Mary…finished the regular season on a five-singles match winning streak, capped off by a win over No. 86 Becky Varnum (6-4, 6-3) of Notre Dame.

At FIU: Played at the No. 1-2-3-4 singles positions as a freshman…finished the season with an overall 24-8 mark, including a 20-5 dual match record…compiled an 18-9 doubles record with four different partners…went on a 16 singles-match winning streak, including 13 straight-set victories…recorded her first collegiate singles match victory of dual play against Jessica Balbuena (6-4, 6-2) of Florida State.

Prep: As a freshman in high school played at the No. 2 singles position…went undefeated in singles play…named to the All-Dade tennis team…ranked in the top 5 in Florida in girls 18 and under.
