As a Freshman in 2001-02: Compiled an impressive 14-4 overall record at the No. 4-5-6 spots, participating only in spring competition…finished the season with a 6-4 doubles mark…opened the spring season on a six-match winning streak, while boasting a No. 118 national ranking…recorded two postseason victories, including a win over Virginia Tech’s Ginger Lowdermilk in the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament and a victory over Marina Raic of FIU in the first round of the NCAA Regionals…defeated Katarina Palenikova 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 in Miami’s 4-3 upset victory over No. 25 South Alabama.
