As a Junior in 2002-03: Proved to be a solid performer for the Hurricanes at the No. 6 position with a record of 10-6, while going 13-10 overall in singles play…helped lead UM to an upset over No. 12 Texas, downing Macey Breece in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 6-1…put together five straight singles victories, taking opponents from Harvard, South Florida, Florida International, Boston College and Virginia…led the Hurricanes to a 4-0 sweep over Virginia Tech in the semi-finals of the BIG EAST Championship…downed Notre Dame’s Jan Smith in three sets 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 in the finals of the BIG EAST Championship…paired with teammate Mari Toro in doubles to go 1-0 at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in doubles action and teamed with Staci Stevens to compile an overall record of 2-2 in the fall season.
As a Sophomore in 2001-02: Compiled an overall singles record of 20-13 at the No. 5-6 positions…went 11-7 in the spring season and 9-6 during tournament competition…finished the season with an even 16-16 doubles mark competing with four partners…opened duals play with six consecutive doubles victories with partner Sihem Bennacer…recorded a straight set victory (6-2, 6-1) over Sarah Jane Connelly in Miami’s victory over Notre Dame at the BIG EAST Championship match…defeated Nazly Elsawaf 6-2, 6-3 in the Hurricanes’ 4-2 NCAA Regional victory over FIU…captured the Flight B Consolation Title defeating teammate Jessica Pelto (6-1, 6-1) at the Gator Fall Classic…recorded victories in each of her six matches at the 2001 Hurricane Fall Classic, including three singles wins and three doubles victories with partner Sihem Bennacer. As a Freshman in 2000-01: Robbins finished the fall season with a record of 4-3 in singles competition and 1-1in doubles action…she recorded two straight-set singles victories at the Lady Seminole Classic in Tallahassee, Fla.…defeated Julie Dougherty of Stetson (6-0, 6-1) and Jamie Larson of USF (6-3, 6-4).
Prep: She was Arizona State Champion and regional champion after an undefeated season in No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles her sophomore year at Santa Rita HS…she was ranked No. 1 in Southwest rankings and No. 61 in the USTA…boasted a No. 1 ranking in doubles in the Southwest for the last three years…she won the doubles championship at the National Indoor Championship in St. Louis…earned Sportsmanship honors for the Southern Arizona section in 1996 and 1999, and at the 12’s Challenge Cup in 1993.
