As a Sophomore in 2003-04 (Fall): Finished her first fall season as a Hurricane with an overall record of 6-2…downed teammate Siehem Bennacer in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5 to win the “B” flight of the Gator Invitational…paired with Bennacer to defeat Texas’ Michelle Krinke and Mia Marovic, 8-4 to win the consolation finals of the Gator Invitational.

As a Freshman at Florida in 2002-03: Was a member of the 2003 National Champion team at the University of Florida...the team compiled an impressive 31-2 overall record and won the SEC title at 10-1 in conference play…she posted an overall record of 5-8 in singles play…went 1-0 in dual play and 4-8 in the fall season.

Prep: Trained at the Evert Tennis Academy…coached by Jose Lambert…won the 1999 18’s ITF Junior International Tennis Tournament in Curacao…won the singles and doubles titles at the 1997 Ascuncion Bowl in Paraguay…placed third at the 1996 National Indoor Championships…was a member of the USTA National Team from 1997-98, when the USA placed first in the 1997 World Youth Cup played in Costa Rica…ranked No. 23 nationally in the 2000 Girls 18’s listings…in 1999 was listed at No. 120 in the Junior ITF 18’s, No. 32 in the U.S. and No. 4 in the state of Florida.
