A natural server and vollier, Stacy Tomkiewicz will look to contribute this season in doubles action.
2002-03 Fall
Tomkiewicz missed the fall season while recovering from a broken arm.
2001-02
Tomkiewicz posted an impressive 5-1 singles record, sharing time at the No. 6 spot. In her five victories, Tomkiewicz defeated all of her opponents in two sets.
In doubles action, Tomkiewicz went 8-4 on the season, teamed with Anna Oehme for the majority for her matches.
In the fall she posted a 2-1 singles record and dropped her three doubles matches.
2000-01
In spring action, Tomkiewicz’s role on the team was mainly limited to doubles play. Tomkiewicz competed in one singles match, where she defeated Kelly Kielbowicz of Creighton, 6-1, 6-1, at the No. 6 spot. In doubles play, Tomkiewicz posted a 12-5 record in the spring and a 1-1 record in the fall season.
1999-2000
Tomkiewicz competed with teammate Ndali Ijomah at No. 3 doubles where the duo finished with a 14-5 record. Tomkiewicz posted a 1-1 record in doubles in the fall of 1999, teaming with Katarina Balan during the 1999 fall season.
Before Nebraska
At Peninsula High School, Tomkiewicz earned most improved honors while playing for Palos Verdes before attending the Weil Tennis Academy.
Personal
The daughter of Jill and Glen Tomkiewicz, Stacey was born on April 9, 1981, in Torrance, Calif. Stacey is a broadcasting major.
