Before Nevada: Was a member of the El-Menzah High School tennis team that was runner-up at the Tunisian Championship in 1997, 1998 and 2000...Had a second place doubles finish in the African Championship in 1996...Also a FedCup player.

Personal: Daughter of Habib Bouchlaka and Douja Maacha...Born April 14, 1983...A biology major with aspirations to become a scientific researcher...Winning runner-up honors in her first African Championship is her greatest athletic achievement...besides drawing and music, enjoys imitating movie stars in her spare time.

Now: This year, Myriam is a senior for the University of Nevada, Reno. Although it is her last year, she has made a tremendous impact on the team that will not be forgotten. Her hard work and determination have shown on and off the court, and they both have landed her with the privilege of being team captain. She is tough and persistent, which has earned the respect and love of the entire team. She is a great asset to the University and the Team.
