Johan Berg enters his third season at USC and his fourth season of collegiate tennis after transferring from Pepperdine in 2002... 2004:
Berg's efforts in the postseason led USC to the NCAA Semifinals thanks to his four wins in the first four rounds of competition... Named 2004 All-Pac-10 honorable mention... After joining the team in January, Berg compiled a 20-7 singles dual match record and played primarily at the No. 4 position in Pepperdine's lineup ... Compiled an overall singles mark of 22-8 ... Helped lead the Waves to the NCAA Quarterfinals, a No. 5 final ranking and the West Coast Conference Championship in 2002 ... Partnered with Al Garland, the pair finished the season with a 23-3 overall doubles record and 23-2 record in dual matches ... The duo posted a 17-0 mark at the No. 2 position and went 6-2 at No. 1 ... The two earned a No. 24 final ranking and earned All-WCC first team honors.
