THIS SEASON:
Drew Hoskins enters his second season at USC and his fourth season of collegiate tennis after transferring from Texas in 2003... Posted a 5-5 record in the Fall... Competed at the Icy Hot/ITA Qualifier, USD Surf & Volley and ITA Regional where he advanced to the quarterfinals... Ranked No. 116 in the ITA preseason singles poll and No. 59 in the ITA preseason doubles poll with Adam Loucks.

2004:
Hoskins was integral in the Trojans success throughout the season by compiling one of the team's best singles and doubles records... A fall victory over No. 59 Pierrick Ysern of San Diego on Oct. 24 entered him in the singles rankings for the majority of the season... Compiled a 28-8 overall singles record, 20-5 mark in dual matches and a 9-3 record against Pac-10 opponents... Played primarily at the No. 5 (6-0) and No. 6 (10-3) singles positions... Also played two matches at No. 2 (1-1), one match at No. 3 (0-1) and three matches at No. 4 (3-0)... Did not compete at the Pac-10 Tournament... Played with four different doubles partners, but enjoyed the most success with Daniel Langre playing at No. 1 (4-4) and 2 (12-1) doubles... The pair compiled a 16-5 overall record, were selected as first alternates for the NCAA Doubles Championships and were ranked No. 20 in the final ITA rankings... Also played doubles matches with Johan Berg (4-3), Ruben Torres (2-1) and Brian Wright (1-1)... Enjoyed a successful fall season with the Trojans, compiling an 8-2 singles record... Advanced to the finals of the Bulldog Classic and the quarterfinals of the ITA West Regional... He and Ruben Torres reached the doubles semifinals at the Bulldog Classic... Ranked No. 59 in the ITA preseason singles poll... Named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

AT TEXAS:
Hoskins spent two seasons at Texas (2002 and 2003)... As a sophomore, Hoskins saw limited playing time in the singles dual match lineup, but compiled a 7-9 record overall... Played two dual matches at No. 3 and No. 4 and went 1-1... In doubles, he paired with Roger Gubser for an 11-7 overall record, mainly in tournament play... Played three doubles dual matches for a 2-1 record and posted a 12-8 overall doubles mark for the year... As a freshman he compiled a 14-9 singles dual match record, including a 6-5 mark at the No. 5 position... He posted a 20-14 overall singles record and 23-10 overall doubles record... Compiled a 14-6 overall record and 10-5 dual match record with partner Will Clinton and was ranked as high as No. 42 in the ITA doubles rankings... Named to the Big XII's Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2002 and the Big XII All-Academic first team in 2003.

Hoskins is a 2001 graduate of St. Stephen's Tennis Academy in Austin, Texas, where he attended as a junior and senior... He spent his freshman and sophomore years of high school at Los Alamitos (Calif.) High... Earned a top 20 USTA 18-and-under ranking in 2000 and 2001... Ranked as high as No. 2 in the USTA boys' 18-and-under doubles rankings in 2000 and 2001... Advanced to the singles round of 16 and doubles quarterfinals at the 2001 USTA Super National Hardcourt Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich. ... Reached the finals of the boys' U18 doubles USTA National Spring and Winter Championships in 2000 and 2001... Ranked No. 1 in Southern California in 1999 among boys' 16-and-under...
