THIS SEASON:
Ryan Moore enters his senior season at USC... Did not compete in the fall... Competed at two professional tournaments in October... Won the Copa Baninter (Dominican Republic F1) Doubles Championship in Santa Domingo and the Tryall Futures 2001 (Jamaica F1a) Doubles in Montego Bay with partner USC partner Nick Rainey... Did not accept prize money to remain NCAA eligible.

2001:
Moore played No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles as a junior, earning a No. 44 final national singles ranking and No. 5 final national doubles ranking with Rainey... Named All-Pac-10... He posted a 21-12 overall singles record, 14-7 record in dual matches and 4-4 mark against Pac-10 opponents... In the regular season he earned upset-victories over (No. 25) K.J. Hippensteel of Stanford and Cal’s (No. 83) Belazs Veress... Playing his best tennis as the regular season came to an end, he went on to win the Pac-10 Tournament Singles Championship with five victories, including upsets over Hippensteel, Alex Kim of Stanford and Jean-Noel Grinda of UCLA... He earned a berth in the NCAA singles championship but was eliminated in the first round... In doubles, Rainey and Moore went 24-4 for the season, 17-1 in dual matches and 6-0 against Pac-10 opponents... The duo captured the SoCal Intercollegiate Doubles Championship in the fall with a victory over Chase Exon and Stefan Suter of Pepperdine... The team was tabbed ITA Doubles Team of the Month after posting a 7-0 record in March... Within that time they registered three top-10 wins and extended their win streak to 18 - the longest of their careers... In the first two rounds of the NCAA team tournament, he and Rainey upset No. 1-ranked Brian Vahaly and Huntley Montgomery of Virginia, 8-5, but ironically fell to the pair in the quarterfinals of the NCAA doubles championships... The pair earned their second-consecutive ITA All-American honors... Moore also played three doubles matches with Ruben Torres (2-1).

2000:
With a full-time position in the starting lineup as a sophomore, Moore finished the season with a 25-15 singles record (17-9 in dual match play) ... Ranked No. 78 in singles at the end of the season, and No. 3 in doubles ... In the fall, he reached the semifinals of the ITA Regionals were he was defeated by teammate and eventual champion, Andrew Park ... He entered the regular season at No. 3 on the lineup where he won 4-of-5 matches to start ... He was again moved one spot higher and dropped four-straight matches, only to win the next six for his longest win streak of the season (Feb. 26 - March 17) ... Of the six victories, one was at the No. 1 position (vs. David Mercier of Utah) ... Finished the regular season, winning 3-of-8 matches after struggling with minor injuries ... He advanced to the second round of the Pac-10 Tournament singles competition, and the quarterfinal round in doubles ... He earned two wins in the first two rounds of the NCAA Team Tournament, including his second over Andy Scorteanu of Fresno State ... As one of the top-five doubles pairs in the country, he and Rainey earned 2000 ITA All-American honors ... The pair finished the season with a 33-11 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Championship Finals before falling to Franklin and Oliver of Illinois ... In the fall, the duo claimed the Fresno State Bulldog Classic and SCTA Tournament Championship.

1999:
Moore had a promising 1999 freshman season cut short by an ankle injury in mid-February ... He posted a 13-3 record in singles and was a perfect 7-0 in dual matches ... He reached the semifinals of the Southern California Tennis Association Tournament in the fall ... In doubles, he went 17-3 overall and 8-0 in dual matches ... Played primarily with Rainey at No. 2 singles, and the pair went 11-1 overall and 8-0 in duals ... Despite missing the second half of the season, he and Rainey had a final national doubles ranking of No. 23 ... He and Rainey made the final of the NCTC Tournament and he and Roman Kukal made the SCTA doubles final and the ITA Regional semifinals.

PREP EXPERIENCE:
A four-year varsity player from Servite High in Anaheim, Calif., Moore was named the CIF Southern Section Player of the Year in 1997 and Orange County Player of the Year in 1998 ... He was named to the all-county first team in all four years of high school ... Moore graduated with a 4.1 GPA and made the honor roll three years.
