Adriano Biasella begins his first active season at USC... Transferred to USC in the fall of 2002 but was not declared eligible until this season... Did not compete in the fall.

JC EXPERIENCE:
Biasella spent one year (2001-02) at College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif. ... Played No. 1 singles and doubles during the 2002 season... Captured the 2002 Community College Championship in singles... Also won the 2002 Ojai Valley Singles Tournament in the men's community college division... Helped his team to the CCCTA 2002 Community College State Championship and captured the CCCTCA Individual Singles and Doubles Championships.

COLLEGIATE EXPERIENCE:
Biasella spent one semester (2001) at Vincennes (Ind.) University and played No. 1 singles and doubles... Advanced to the singles and doubles finals at the 2001 NJCAA Division II Championships... Named the 2001 NJCAA Men's Tennis Player of the Year.

PREP EXPERIENCE:
Biasella is a 1998 graduate of IInd Liceo Artiztico in Rome... Achieved his highest ATP rankings in 2000, entering the polls at No. 844 singles and No. 721 doubles... Defeated six players ranked among the ATP's top 450 in various satellite tournaments.

PERSONAL:
Adriano Biasella was born on Sept. 1, 1980, in Rome, Italy... The son of Sandro and Aurora Biasella, he has one older brother, Mauro... Would like to play tennis professionally after graduation... An international relations major.
