THIS SEASON: Steve Johnson, now a five-time All-American, enters his senior season at USC as the defending NCAA singles champion and defending Pac-10 champ in singles and doubles.

2010-11 SEASON: Johnson won the 2011 NCAA Singles Championship not long after helping USC win its third straight NCAA Team Championship... Beat Tennessee's Rhyne Williams 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in the singles final... Finished the season on a 35-match singles winning streak, ranked No. 1 in singles and No. 32 in doubles with Ray Sarmiento... Named ITA National Player of the Year... An ITA All-American in singles, also was named Pac-10 Player of the Year after winning the Pac-10 Singles Championship and the Pac-10 Doubles Championship with Sarmiento... Selected NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player and to NCAA All-Tournament Team for singles... Named to ITA All-Star Team and USTA Collegiate Team and was a first-team All-Pac-10 pick... A two-time Pac-10 Player of the Week... Went 48-3 overall in singles, going undefeated at 24-0 at the No. 1 singles position... In doubles, was 27-10 overall and 16-6 in dual-match play... 2009-10 SEASON: An ITA All-American in singles and doubles, Johnson finished his sophomore season ranked No. 9 in the nation in singles and No. 2 in doubles with Robert Farah... Selected to All-Pac-10 First Team and was the Pac-10 Doubles Team of the Year with Farah... Named to NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles with Farah... Also named an ITA Collegiate All-Star and to the USTA Summer Collegiate Team... Played in the NCAA Singles first round and reached the NCAA Doubles Round of 16 with Farah... Went 29-5 overall in singles, including an 18-3 mark in dual match play... Played at the No. 1 (7-1) and No. 2 (11-2) positions... In doubles, went 38-5 overall, including a 23-2 mark in dual match play... Went 31-5 with Farah, going 16-2 in dual matches at the No. 1 position... Also went 6-0 with Daniel Nguyen and 1-0 with JT Sundling... Named Pac-10 Player of the Week on March 9... Entered the spring ranked No. 1 in the nation in singles and No. 13 in doubles with Robert Farah... Selected to All-Pac-10 First Team... Reached the Pac-10 singles championship match... Named Pac-10 Doubles Team of the Year with Farah... Selected to NCAA All-Tournament Team for No. 1 doubles... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 16 and the NCAA Doubles Round of 16 with Farah... Led the team in singles wins at 35-13 overall, including a team-best 20-6 record in dual matches... Went 6-3 at No. 2, 14-2 at No. 3 and 0-1 at No. 4 in dual match singles... In doubles, went 38-14 overall playing with Farah (35-11), Jason McNaughton (0-1) and Jaak Poldma (3-2)... Was 2008 Kalamazoo Doubles finalist... Won 2008 Southern California Sectional Boys 18 championship and nine Gold Balls... Clinched the title for Southern California at the 2007 Junior Davis Cup.
