2012-13 SEASON: Hanfmann finished his sophomore season ranked No. 33 in the nation in ITA singles, No. 32 in doubles with Ray Sarmiento and also No. 69 in doubles with Eric Johnson... Earned ITA All-American honors in singles in reaching the NCAA Singles Round of 16... Had won six straight singles matches before falling to Andreas Mies of Auburn in the Round of 16... Also named to All-Pac-12 Second Team and earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 19... Named to ITA National Team Indoors All-Tournament Team for No. 4 singles... Undefeated in singles from Feb. 1-April 13, winning 17 matches in a row... Went 31-7 overall in singles, going 21-1 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 3 position, going 8-1... Also played at No. 2 (6-0), No. 4 (6-0) and No. 5 (1-0)... Named to All-Pac-12 Second Team and to ITA National Team Indoor All-Tournament Team for No. 5 singles... Won the Sherwood Collegiate Doubles Championship with teammate Steve Johnson...
