Magnani completed the year ranked No. 21 in the final ITA singles poll and No. 8 in the final ITA doubles poll with partner Carine Vermeulen... Earned ITA All-America honors in both singles and doubles... Named All-Pac-10 second team... Made the jump to the No. 1 singles position and compiled a 16-13 overall singles record, an 11-8 mark in dual matches and a 5-5 record against Pac-10 opponents... A shoulder injury kept her sidelined for six matches throughout the season... Posted upset victories over No. 7 Daria Panova of Oregon on March 5 and No. 11 Petra Dizdar of Texas on March 20... Did not compete at the Pac-10 Tournament... Selected to compete in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championship... Fell in the first round of each... Played No. 1 doubles with Vermeulen all season... The pair compiled a 18-10 overall record, a 15-8 mark in dual matches and a 6-5 Pac-10 record... Ranked 24th in the preseason ITA singles rankings and No. 42 in doubles with Vermeulen... 2003:
Magnani finished her sophomore season ranked No. 24 in the ITA singles rankings... Made her second career appearance at the NCAA Singles Championships but fell to Adria Engel in the second round... Compiled a 20-7 overall singles record, 18-5 dual match record and 4-2 mark in the Pac-10... Played mainly at No. 2 singles and doubles with partner Anita Loyola... Won her NCAA team singles matches against Georgia Tech and Kansas State and won the doubles matches against Sacramento State, Georgia Tech and Kansas State... Recorded her biggest singles upset of the year in the final match of the regular season when she beat then-No. 14 Lauren Barnikow of Stanford, 6-4, 6-2... Did not lose more than two consecutive matches throughout the season... In doubles, Magnani and Loyola went 20-11 overall, 18-9 in dual matches and 4-4 in the Pac-10... The pair reached the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Indoor Championships in January and the quarterfinals of the Pac-10 Tournament in April... Did not compete in fall tournaments while recovering from foot injuries... Ranked No. 40 in the ITA preseason doubles rankings with Loyola... Named All-Pac-10 honorable mention... Honored as the ITA West Region Player to Watch.

2002:
As a freshman, Magnani compiled a 33-12 overall singles record and 26-12 doubles mark... Finished the season ranked No. 29 in singles... Named All-Pac-10 second team... Had three standout tournament performances in the fall, reaching the main draw of the Riviera Tournament with six consecutive victories in the qualifier... Advanced to the semifinals at the ITA Regional Championships before falling to eventual champion and USC teammate Jewel Peterson... Also reached the finals of the Pac-10 Indoor Championships (Flight II) in January... Played the majority of dual matches at the No. 2 position (17-8) and one each at the No. 1 (1-0) and No. 3 (1-0) spots... Recorded upset victories over Sara Walker of UCLA and Chloe Carlotti of Fresno State... She and doubles partner Anita Loyola were ranked throughout the season and finished 44th in the ITA polls... The duo competed in the NCAA Doubles Championships and finished the season with a 18-9 mark in dual matches at the No. 2 spot.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Magnani is a 2001 graduate of San Marino (Calif.) High... Played No. 1 singles on the varsity team all four years... A four-time All-Rio Hondo League selection and MVP... Won the CIF singles championship as a junior and advanced to the singles finals as a sophomore and the doubles finals as a freshman... Helped lead San Marino to the league championship as a freshman, junior and senior... San Marino won the CIF championship in 1999 and was the runner-up in 1998 and 2000... She went undefeated as a sophomore... She ranked No. 1 regionally and No. 16 nationally by the USTA in 1999 (16s), No. 1 regionally and No. 5 nationally in 2000 (17s) and No. 2 regionally and No. 6 nationally in 2001 (18s).
